Electrical Test Engineer

Overview

One of our national clients are currently recruiting a number of experienced Electrical Test & Inspection Engineers to join an existing team on a permanent basis to work through a full order book with commercial clients in and around Greater London, specifically around the M25 area. The ideal candidate will be time served with City & Guilds 2391 test and inspection qualified with up to date 17th Edition Regulations certificate.

Role Description

-The test and inspection of fixed wire installations across commercial sites
-Thorough completion of testing reports and certificates to NICEIC standards
-No remedial actions to be carried out, only testing and reporting on current condition
-Mobile role working from home with van and all equipment supplied
-Work to be carried out to according to up to date 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
-Acting as a representative on behalf of the client in a customer facing position
-Must be appropriately qualified and experienced in fixed wire testing and inspection
-Working knowledge and experience of PAT Testing
-Fully funded company vehicle provided
-Test equipment also provided

Skills & Attributes

-Ideally you will be a time served electrician, however those with a wealth of experience will also be considered
-City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection qualified (essential)
-17th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)
-Must have a proven track record of testing and inspection of commercial fixed wire installations (essential)
