Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

Salary: £44,400 – £45,600 per year

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Electrical bias 

Salary: £37,000 to £38,000 p/annum 

Shifts: 4 on 4 off, days and nights 

Benefits: Overtime, Bonus, Pension scheme and Training.

Location: Gainsborough, Manufacturing 

Qualifications

• Must be time-served 
• Level 3 Electrical / Engineering qualification (NVQ/BTEC)
• 17th Edition / 18th Edition – desirable 
• Must have experience within a manufacturing environment.

Role Details: 

The Engineers are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all site production equipment, whilst adhering to strict health and safety and technical legislation.

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance activities
• Ability to fault find and problem solve
• Experience with inverters and 3 phase machinery
• Knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems
• Understanding of Health and Safety Procedures and legislation
• Attend breakdowns, complete regular machine maintenance performing high quality root cause analysis 
• Continuous improvement and project work 
• Machinery Installations 

Candidate

A Maintenance Engineer – Electrical who has the attributes of:

• Ability to work independently or part as a team
• Uses own initiative
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels including clients.
• Flexible and self-motivated 
• Electrical qualification with additional mechanical abilities
