Steam Systems Inspector

Steam Systems Inspector – Weybridge – £29,000 to £31,000

Our client, a leading FM Services Provider, is looking for a Steam Systems Inspector to join their team on a unique site in the Weybridge area. The role will be focused on inspections of various pieces of steam, pressure and boiler plant that are located throughout the large site and make sure they are working to various health and safety, quality and environmental issues. Only when the plant surpasses the required standards, can you issue a certificate and arrange another periodic visit. However, if the equipment fails the standards, you will need to recommend best possible solutions to the likely problems that the plant/equipment my cause. You will need to make sure that any works that need done are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Skills / Experience:
*A solid track record of mechanical engineering with specific experience of steam installations & systems
*At least a C&G level 3 / HNC or HND in mechanical engineering or a similar related discipline.
*You would have needed to have worked on Steam, Pressure or Boiler Equipment.
*This role will be best suited to someone with knowledge on steam valves, steam controls, steam burners, steam boilers, boilers, burners, pumps, rotating equipment, engines, power generators, HVAC.
*It would be advantageous if you have completed some steam inspections in a previous role.
