Software Consultant

Salary: £48,000 – £66,000 per year

Seeking German or Polish speakers, experienced in the implementation of retail software solutions or workforce management / rostering software solutions or similar to take up a role as Software Consultant, Functional Consultant or Implementation Consultant for a retail productivity solutions company. Prestigious and varied retail clients in many countries internationally. You will be home-based anywhere in the EU or in the UK with occasional travel and frequent client contact online. Salary varied according to experience in the approximate range £48,000 – £66,000pa or equivalent. Whether you are fully experienced software consultant, or are still learning and progressing from your first software related role, or in between, we are interested in hearing from you.
In this role you will:
* engage with contacts in client organisations, understand their business processes and write specifications for the configuration of the software to meet client needs
* hands on configure the software using its in built tools
* assist with testing, oversee UAT and hand hold the client through rollout
* work with prestigious retail client companies across many European countries
* be part of collaborative small team providing these solutions in Europe
* use your Polish or German language skills to communicate with client contacts in those countries including in conference calls and video meetings
* travel to client sites occasionally for face to face meetings
* be flexible in your approach, and willing to take on varied responsibilities in the implementation projects
* develop or use project management skills
* gain exposure to databases, AI and machine learning, Python or other technical skills if interested, or focus more on business processes if this meets your career interests more.
