An opportunity has arisen for a Site Technical Manager to join our client based in Haverhill. You will be supporting the Production & Commercial teams to ensure quality is maintained and continuously improved.

As the Site Technical Manager your duties will include:

• Supporting the Production and Technical Manager by adheering to quality standards & ensuring the quality systems are maintained and continuously improved
• Being a point of contact for customers and certification bodies
• Understanding the HACCP system and supporting the team
• Ensuring all procedures are in place and the work systems are safe
• Reporting complaints & non-conformances to management
• Carrying out / overseeing internal audits to BRC & QMS/GMP procedures

An ideal candidate for the Site Technical Manager will have:

• HACCP Level 2 & Food Safety Level 3 (essential)
• BRC certification experience with processes & standards
• Minimum 2 years experience in a technical supervisory role within the food industry
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage own workload
• Degree level education or equivalent.
• ERP experience and internal audit experience is highly desirable.
