Circa £48,000 (Mon-Fri)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join this expanding manufacturing company. Organising and co-ordinating the work activities relating to the site services/utilities with the 3 Site Services Engineers to ensure the effective and efficient running of site services on the site. This will involve interfacing with all areas of the factory and being part of a call out system.

Your role will be to ensure compliance to heath, safety and environmental legislation and accreditations for site utilities. Advice and support to be given by the Health, Safety, Environment and Energy Manager and/or Environmental Coordinator. This will include:
·Trade Effluent
·Boilers operations
·Refrigeration gases
·Pressure vessels
·Ladders and steps
·LEV
·Issuing of work permits to contractors
·Undertaking internal risk assessments

To ensure the effective day to day running, maintenance and continuous improvement of the services outline below
·Compressed air
·Water treatment
·Chilled water facilities
·Hot water smart grid
·Bulk chemical storage and delivery
·Chemical and oil storage facilities

To ensure the effective day to day running, maintenance and continuous improvement of the services outline below
·Cooling Towers
·Chilled warehouse
·Chilled tank rooms
·HVAC units
·Fire services (including fire alarm, emergency access points/ doors/ walkways/ lighting, fire extinguishers, sprinkler system)
·Security (including main access gates, intruder alarm)
·Road and pedestrian access (including road, drainage, traffic lights, signs)
·Internal and external lighting
·Service pipe-work brackets/supports.
·Toilets and showers

To work towards achieving the site goals on lowering utility consumption by:
·Ensuring all Eco’s are recorded
·Maintenance and operation of the metering and monitoring system
·Recommend and undertake improvements to utility consumptions including gas, electricity and water
·Recommend future utility efficient investments.

To supervise and coordinate the site services engineers. To include:
·Completion of PMP’s and performance monitoring
·Mentoring and coaching
·Identify and fulfill training needs

About You
·Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification/work experience.
·Appropriate experience in the supervision of engineering site services
·Multi-skilled preferred (mechanical and electrical) – if electrical be 16th edition qualified.
·An operational knowledge of site services
·Awareness of hygiene standards in a food environment
·Practical knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements
·Ability to lead and work within a team
·Have the ability to motivate and encourage a sense of urgency
·Have effective problem solving skills
·Good PC skills and with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
·Good communication skills and ability to influence a variety of stakeholders.
·Ability to manage your own time.
·Desirable: Knowledge of food hygiene requirements.
·A knowledge of automated process control
·Desirable: Trained and certificated boiler operator
