Salary: £300 – £330 per day

Freelance Site Manager – 7 months – main contractor – Manchester

The Opportunity

Working with a main contractor on a freelance basis until approximately August 2019, you will be looking after all the externals work including groundwork, brickwork, cladding, hard/soft landscaping etc. As Freelance Site Manager you will need a strong emphasis on externals and a good eye for detail. You will be pushing and driving the externals trades checking quality and ensuring all work is to the highest standard.

The Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to a site based Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all the externals are completed to a high level with an eye for safety at all times as this is a city centre site. Experience of driving a team, assigning roles and ensuring the works are completed to programme are key. This role is for someone who likes to be out in the field driving the workforce.

Skills and Experience

You will be an experienced Freelance Site Manager ideally with a main contractor background. Those with experience of externals work are urged to apply ASAP. As a minimum, you will have a CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid.
