Salary: £324 per day

Talented Site Manager required to join an expanding company offering a fabulous opportunity. Happy to take Site Manager on a permanent or Freelance basis (upto £270 a day)

We are working alongside a successful London property developer who have £3 Billion worth of assets across a varied portfolio, which includes residential, commercial, hotels and considered one of the largest property owners in the West End of London. They currently have 4000 flats and 3 hotels in the development pipeline. Our client’s business model is extremely well managed, with a reputation for producing very high quality developments. They are keen to recruit an experienced and talented Site Manager to be based on a large hotel refurbishment in Central London.

The Site Manager will be responsible for day to day management of construction projects including taking corrective action where necessary, and progressing them through to handover and final occupation. 

To commission and liaise with contractors, architects, quantity surveyors and others to deliver the construction phase.

The Site Manager will represent the organisation at external meetings

To liaise with other internal teams to ensure client requirements are met, resolving competing priorities.

The Site Manager will provide regular information and reports on progress and achievement of key milestones and project objectives.

To ensure accurate records are kept and documents filed.

To lead and motivate site teams, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency of delivery.

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, organisational policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, equality and diversity and quality

The Site Manager will have a minimum of 5 years experience of managing sites in a hands on environment

A demonstrable understanding of the construction process across a range of building and tenure types

Demonstrable experience of effectively project managing construction schemes, adding value to schemes as part of the process

Understanding of construction technology including common and emerging design and construction defects and how to avoid them.

Ability to plan and prioritise workloads

Ability to control and manage resources

Ability to interrogate and manage operatives and contractors to ensure optimal delivery, coordinating parties to add value. 

Ability to work with and get results from third party suppliers, contractors and consultants

The Site Manager will also have a stable employment history.
