Salary: £240 – £264 per day

All the high end qualiity projects carried are in renovations and full refurbishments of some of the most highly sought properties in the Cotswolds. 

Role

Day to day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget and quality constraints.

Responsibilities

Supervise, manage and motivate the site team, including effective management of sub-contractor activities.

Ensure workmanship standards are achieved and materials procured in accordance with project specifications, building regulations and health and safety legislation.

Requisition of all building materials, oversight of deliveries and ensure they are planned in adequate time for the construction programme.

Plan and efficiently organise the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff.

Maintain close relations with the Contracts Manager to ensure:

• Adequate labour and sub-contract resource is available on site utilising preferred suppliers
• The timely release of any information required from the Design Team
• Variations are captured and reported

Anticipating and solving problems as they present themselves on site.

Create and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders.

Assist in the recruitment and selection process as required, fulfil the role of mentor as and when required.

Professional qualifications

HSE, SMSTS, Asbestos

Experience

Minimum 5 years

Competencies

Problem solving, strong communication skills, high attention to detail

Highly organised, knowledge of construction processes and health and safety procedures

Up to £240 – £264 per day or £240 – £264 per day depending on experience
