Service Delivery Manager
6+ Month Contract – to start immediately
Up to £300-£350/day
Based in Milton Keynes.

You will need:
Essential
• ITIL Service Management
• Proven experience of operational IT management
• Knowledge of end-to-end service delivery models
Desirable
• Managing teams across an operational support structure
Practitioner certificate in ITIL
The Role:
To manage the availability and performance of systems infrastructure and application components. Lead internal and supplier activities in the operation and maintenance of IT services, to the required customer standards. Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day operational service delivery issues.
• Manage the operational delivery of service from nominated suppliers in accordance with contract and agreed SLAs
• Monitor supplier performance against set targets and monitor scope and volume of services delivered
• Drive productivity improvements to achieve value for money and apply costing and charging mechanisms in line with services received
• Where there are problems with services, develop and implement effective corrective plans. Perform causal and action studies to minimise risks of re-occurrence.
• Manage changes to managed services, dealing through business engagement teams, supply chain and suppliers, such that the integrity of end-to-end service levels is not threatened and propose where there is a risk.
• Manage benchmarking process to provide support service at best value for money, working alongside Vendor Management
• Oversee programmes of regular operational reviews for delivery teams and initiate improvement plans
