Salary: £45,600 per year

Senior Surveyor
Location: Oxford
Salary: £45,600per annum
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours, Monday to Friday

Greenacre Recruitment are working alongside a large housing association which manages over 35,000 homes across London and the South East to try and source a Senior Surveyor. You will be involved in the management of ongoing works and repairs, bearing in mind cost, health and safety, resident satisfaction and risk.

Key Responsibilities;
1. Manage a team on a daily basis to ensure all staff succeed in the delivery of objectives.
2. Inspect and undertake surveys to record and capture information on the Groups building stock, especially internal, and communal and estate related components.
3. Produce good analysis & recommendations from information gathered.
4. Effectively monitor Key Performance Indicators and undertake regular
5. Identify and implement controls to monitor and report on key areas such as cost, programme, health & safety, resident satisfaction and risk.
6. Effectively plan and manage projects to agreed service levels, ensuring works carried out meet the Group?s quality requirements and stakeholder expectations.
7. Ensure policies and existing procedures are followed and suggest areas for improvement.
8. Promote effective team working and development of staff, providing technical and financial direction.
9. Represent the Section or Department at committee and resident meetings.
10. To act as the central point in liaison between the client and the joint venture in developing improvements to the service.
11. To comply with financial procedures and codes of practice at all times.

Essentials for the role;

1. Property/Surveying related qualification
2.Building management qualification
3. Good understanding of value for money concerning building repair costs
4. Experience of Building condition Surveys, and repair diagnosis
5. Experience of working with multi-agencies
6. Experience of maintaining a budget
7. Prepared to undertake a DBS check
8. Full driving licence and access to a car.
