Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Our client is a medium sized asbestos consultancy – UKAS accredited and provides specialist advice and services in all asbestos related issues to a range of clients.

Due to expansion in workload, they are presently seeking the services of an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to cover a mixed bag of contracts in and around the West Midlands area.

The successful candidate must hold the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates and must also have previous surveying and air-monitoring/air-testing experience within the asbestos sector.

Duties:

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site carrying out removal work.

Carrying out Asbestos Management, Demolition/Refurbishment surveys on various properties -commercial and industrial.

Providing comprehensive asbestos reports as and when required.

Carrying out background, leak, reassurance, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation, visual and personal air testing.

Liaising with the clients on a regular basis.

Overall, you will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good communication skills, both written and verbal, be conversant with the Health & Safety procedures in relation to asbestos and have the ability to work independently.
