Senior Standards Assurance Coordinator (ISO Standards)

Williams Lea is currently seeking a Senior Standards and Assurance Coordinator to work within the Operations division! 

Are you a self-motivated and client focussed senior Standards and Assurance professional with demonstrable knowledge of compliance and regulatory topics within an operational environment? Do you have process auditing experience to management system standards? Do you possess a track record in international standards disciplines such as ISO9001, ISO27001, OHSAS18001 and ISO14001?

Job Overview: 
As Senior Standards and Assurance Coordinator you will provide support at site level for operations or other offices that operate within the WL group, working in close liaison with Operational Managers to ensure that suppliers and subcontractors operate in a compliant manner. This will involve ensuring that all parties comply with, inter alia Health and Safety, Quality, Information / Physical Security and Environmental requirements, ISO standards and contractual obligations regarding Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery. 

Key accountabilities are supporting the Standards and Assurance Manager in the implementation and operation of the respective site management systems within the Williams Lea Group; support the local area management in the application and periodic review of risk assessments and application of residual controls across all certificated ISO standards; contribute to the drive for continual improvement for the benefit of the customer and the business and provide evidence of outcomes; host and support internal and external auditing and drive timely closure and on-going sustainment of reported findings with the relevant local area senior manager(s); ensure that for any identified non-conformance or incident finding, subsequent issue resolution results in effective corrective and sustained preventive actions being taken and recorded; and proactive support to the Standards and Assurance Manager to share best practice
with other sites within the division through meetings or other communication methods as agreed.

Required Experience: 
We are looking for a client focussed Standards and Assurance Coordinator with the ability to apply compliance process and control aligned to legislative and regulatory requirements in printing industries. You will have excellent administration skills coupled with experience in MS Office applications, including Excel, Visio and Word. You will also have a strong understanding of quality process evaluation and operational performance improvement techniques along with a methodical and logical approach to planning and organising. You will be comfortable and confident in communicating with senior stakeholders within the business and with external clients at all levels. 

To be considered for this permanent job opportunity of Senior Standards and Assurance Coordinator based in Shepshed, Leicestershire, you must be from a compliance and regulatory background with experience and knowledge of the core international standards (ISO9001, ISO27001, OHSAS18001 and ISO14001). 

Demonstrable knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles and techniques would be highly desirable as would NEBOSH, IEMA or BSI Quality Auditor certification.
