Quality Assurance Operative
* Sunderland
* £26,000 per year
* Long term contract min. 9 months
* Shift pattern: 3 days on, 3 days off; 12 hour shifts; 12pm to 12am
* Immediate starts available
A leading production and distribution company is recruiting for a number of experienced QA Operatives to join the team on a fixed term basis.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Quality assurance and quality checking in a fast-paced fulfilment environment
* First off/last off
* Assist in the production of quality reports, presentations, spreadsheets etc
* Liaise with internal customers and participate in team meetings
* Provide continuous team support in a pressurised environment
Required Skills and Experience:
* QA/quality experience working in a high-volume manufacturing or distribution environment
* Computer literate with advanced MS Office skills is preferred
* Flexibility to work 12 hour shifts and weekends is essential
Example Hours of Work:
Thursday: 12pm-12am
Friday: 12pm-12am
Saturday: 12pm-12am
Sunday: OFF
Monday: OFF
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: 12pm-12am
Thursday: 12pm-12am
Friday: 12pm-12am
This position would suit an experienced quality inspector/QA auditor/QA operative with a background in high speed manufacturing.
