Senior L&d Advisor – Beautiful Lake District

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior L&D Advisor to take up a challenging role within a manufacturing organisation with international presence in many industries. Based in the beautiful Lake District, you will lead the L&D team to engage, develop, nurture and retain employees so that the business can meet its strategic objectives. As a result, some travel is expected, along with the need to be site 2 to 3 days a week.

You will support the development of a consistent approach to L&D, playing a key role in the design and implementation of comprehensive frameworks across key business functions (sales, customer service, leadership, etc.).

You will manage the complete learning and development needs and actively involving your team in continuous improvement activities and promoting a right first time approach, whilst also providing guidance and coaching support where necessary.

You will also work across the business globally to deliver a broad spectrum of L&D initiatives, providing advice and guidance to managers and colleagues through effective communications and engagement, training and management development, and coaching and feedback.

You will have a strong background within L&D, with demonstrable knowledge and expertise in identifying and sourcing external providers, appropriate assessment tools, materials and evaluation methods, implementing the frameworks and analysing metrics to evaluate on-going success.
