Quantity Surveyor – Building Envelopes
Our Client
Our client is one of Europe’s leading building envelope contractors. They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the company on a permanent basis.
Our client focuses on industrial roofing, cladding and façade projects. They have an outstanding reputation in the market place as well as healthy order book. The candidate will be able to professionally liaise with clients and run the commercial aspects of the business.
The Role:
* Producing valuations
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Management of sub-contract accounts
* Resolution of contractual disputes
* Forecasting
* Producing reports
* Maintaining steady workflow and turnover
* Scheduling resources
* Ensuring that projects in your jurisdiction run to budget
* Delivering acceptable margins
* Achieving or improving on agree budgets
* Increasing client base
* Ensuring preliminary costs run within estimated costs
* Liaising and constantly communicating with management and Sub Contractors
The Candidate:
* Must have an extensive commercial experience
* Must have experience with industrial roofing, cladding or façade projects
* Must have excellent commercial acumen
* Must have worked in a Quantity Surveyor position previously
* Must have 3 or more years previous experience within a specialist sub-contractor or main contractor
* Ideally have a background within building envelopes
* Be dedicated and be willing to put in the hours required to achieve results
