Salary: £84,000 per year

Role

Reporting into the Associate Director, as Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for delivering innovative designs for projects for either a single specialism or a range of industry sectors including Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Defence, Data Centres or Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

* Act as Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Design Lead on electrical and multi-disciplinary projects.

* Coordinate electrical services designs with other building services disciplines and external teams including architects and structural engineers.

* Produce concept design through to detailed design for building services engineering systems.

* Ensure all design projects and reports are technically compliant and to a consistently high standard.

* Supervise, coach, and develop junior staff members to optimise their potential.

* Work collaboratively and cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements

* A recognised Electrical or Building Services Engineering qualification to degree level.

* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing electrical building services engineering design projects.

* Membership of a professional body (CIBSE or IET preferred) and committed to achieving Chartership.

* Experience with industry specific software such as Etap, Amtech, Dialux, Relux etc.

* Desire to improve your technical ability within electrical design across a range of building and project types.

* Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels across multiple disciplines, as well as clients
