Graduate Electrical Engineer

Graduate calibre Electrical Engineer is required on a permanent employment basis in the South Bristol area (commutable from the likes of Clevedon, Bath, Taunton, Newport, Cardiff, Avon, Somerset, South Wales etc) working for a high-technology scientific equipment design and manufacturing business who supply systems used in research, nanotechnology, and semiconductor processing environments.

Your role as the graduate calibre Electrical Engineer will initially be involved with modification design on 400 volt machine controls utilising PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) and using AutoCAD LT.

To be considered it is expected that you will hold a 1st or 2.1 BEng or MEng degree (or equivalent) in Elec Eng (Electrical and Electronics Engineering, E&EE), or similar. This should be coupled with some relevant Engineering working experience (e.g. professional placement or sandwich year in industry). You should be able to demonstrate practical design skills through your final year project.
