Salary: £120,000 – £144,000 per year

Senior Construction Project Manager / Asst Buildings Director wanted for Harringay North London.

My client has been operating for over 50 years and delivers on multiple residential projects each year, these include both new builds sites and upward extensions, as well as renovations and refurbishments, producing 8 – 40 units.

The role will be office based with travel to different sites primarily across North London but occasionally might require travel further afield. Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.

Salary: £120,000 – £144,000with benefits listed at the bottom of the email.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager who has the intelligence, drive and appetite to progress their career further taking on more responsibility.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be involved in a range of construction and management activities. They are about to commence work on a £7.5m Site in Harringay, to deliver 23 flats and 3 houses. The role will require the successful candidate to liaise with the present Building Director progressing the site, working with the clients design team and QS.

  • Coordinating all aspects of the project from start to finish, managing the budget, and ensuring that all deadlines are met
  • Ensuring that all workers have adequate training for the job to reduce risk of injuries or accidents
  • Coordinating work with other contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, and designers to ensure that all team members are working towards the same goals
  • Overseeing all stages of the construction project from planning to completion, ensuring that all requirements are met
  • Monitoring project costs to ensure that they remain within budget parameters
  • Attending regular meetings with senior management to discuss project status and issues that may arise
  • Reviewing and approving plans for materials, equipment, and labor needed to complete the project
  • Identifying potential problems with projects before they arise and recommending solutions to prevent issues from escalating
