Project Manager Construction

Salary: £108,000 per year

Project Manager / Director – to £108,000plus excellent benefits package. Also happy to accept self employed status for the right individual

With all the doom and gloom within the market place it is refreshing to hear that our client is bucking the trend and expanding turnover and more importantly profit. They are a well established, financially stable main contractor who have secured turnover for next year. They have carved themselves out a niche market within the high quality design and build market sector, earning a reputation for producing exceptionally high finishes and quality of service. Schemes vary from £10 to £50m in value.

They are currently in the process of recruiting a talented Project Manager / Director to be site based on a recently award project. The scheme is a new build hotel in Manachester, valued approximately at £45m.

Reporting to the Construction Director, the company requires the Project Manager / Director to contribute at the highest level with regards to responsibility for delivery of the project safely, on time and to the client’s satisfaction. The Project Manager / Director will ensure that during the project all aspects of safety, environmental, quality, technical and commercial management issues are implemented and maintained. The Project Manager / Director will create and set up a team appropriate for the project in order to develop and retain staff.

It is imperative that the successful Project Manager / Director has experience of design and build schemes within a recognised contractor. Other pre requisites are:

* Main contracting building background

* Experience of running £multi-million building projects.

* Experienced and seasoned site number 1

* Excellent client facing skills

* Strong management and communication skills

* Commercially and technically competent

* Strong appreciation for health and safety, procedures and programme.
