Senior Configuration Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £50,400 per year

Hours: 37 hours per week

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Configuration Engineer to join a world class technical engineering company based in Stevenage. The Senior Configuration Engineer will be a talented Engineering professional with an eye for detail and experience of working with and controlling product data. Using your previous product configuration experience, you will have the opportunity to work within a close and motivated team to provide direct support to many key business products.

Typical activities include:

• You will be working on challenging Projects across the whole product lifecycle and to support you, you will receive structured skills development and training in the aspects of Configuration Control.

Skills and qualifications required from the following:

• Ideally a background in Configuration Control or Technical Data Management and/or HND/HNC in an engineering discipline.
• Evidential experience in interpreting technical data and Bills of Materials for large and complex assemblies.
• Familiar with the principles of Configuration Management within an aerospace or defence setting.
• Experience of managing engineering design changes across a multi-stakeholder environment.
• You should have an eye for detail and able to apply that with integrity with respect to controlling engineering data, drawings, and CAD models.
• Ideally you will have experience of PTC Windchill as a Product Lifecycle Management tool.

You should be able and willing to gain (UK Eyes only) security clearance, potentially to DV level in the future.
