SEN Teaching Assistant – Lewsiahm – September 2021
Edustaff are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Lewisham for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.

The Role and Responsibilities for an SEN Teaching Assistant May Consist Of The Following:
• To support teachers in providing a learning environment that meets the intellectual, sensory and personal development needs of children
• To support teachers in providing a learning environment that meets the spiritual, moral, social and cultural needs of children
• To support pupils in the achievement of their individual learning and behaviour targets
• To contribute to the safety of the pupils
• To implement school policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety and general welfare of children
The role of an SEN Teaching Assistant can be challenging and requires determination and resilience to help change the lives of some of the most vulnerable children within our society. Support will need to be provided in both an emotional and academic manner.
