SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

We urgently require an experienced Special Educational Needs SEN Teaching Assistant for a long term assignment at an established primary school in Rotherham. The role is to start straight asap, is full-time Monday to Friday, and is anticipated to be until the summer break. Whilst a relevant qualification(s) is/are advantageous, the successful candidate MUST be able to demonstrate previous experience successfully working as a SEN Teaching Assistant

The role will involve specific 121 work with Y4 pupil who has Social Emotional and Mental Health SEMH needs. The successful candidate should have excellent literacy and numeracy skills to engage with the pupil and help in their learning progress, in addition to being considerate with his/her additional needs.

* Have previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant?

* Have an excellent understanding of SEN in a mainstream primary setting?

* Have a formal SEN Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant qualification?

* Currently live in Rotherham or within a 10 mile radius?
