We have an exciting role in our Reward and Payroll team within our HR shared service function. This role will help us to meet the ever-increasing needs of our expanding businesses. If you love to drive change and help businesses achieve their goals, then this is the role you are looking for!
About The Role
As member of the HR Leadership Team this role will be responsible for thought leadership to define and deliver the Group Reward strategies. You will deliver compelling data-led cases for change and drive improvements in reward across the Group. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the Payroll Lead and for establishing and implementing efficient processes for the management and delivery of all payroll / reward matters. All this will be done in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring you work in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
Responsible for ensuring efficient use of reward / payroll systems you will deliver our services and provide expert advice to effectively achieve the HR Reward Plan and ensure Workdry becomes an employer of choice.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Continually review the Group Reward offering to assess how it compares against the market. Prepare and present options for improved employee engagement to the business & Board. Lead the development of the Group Reward Strategy.
Use multiple systems to analyse and model complex statistical, financial, demographic and other data to draw conclusions about the competitiveness of our current packages.
Benefits management and administration including renewal, maintenance, liaising with third party suppliers as required, ensuring the business is obtaining the best value for money.
Responsible for selecting, designing and implementing new reward and recognition initiatives, both financial and non-financial.
Manage the Executive and overseas payroll via the outsourced payroll services and provide guidance and support to the in-house Payroll Lead for main group payrolls.
Manage our pensions administration with an awareness of Pensionable Pay sets 1 and 3, Net Pay and Relief at Source contributions rules and salary sacrifice schemes.
Review and implement new HR / Payroll software โ iTrent / MHR.
Lead salary survey participation and the job benchmarking approach within the Group.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Educated to degree Standard or equivalent through experience.
Advanced excel skills and proficient with compensation and HR data management and reporting.
IT proficient โ highly experienced with HR / payroll / reward software
Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to manage key relationships and influence outcomes when/where needed.
A Compensation & Benefits expert with a high level of analytical and critical thinking and a logical & pragmatic approach.
An evidence-based decision maker, with commercial acumen, and credible reward & benefits experience.
Knowledge & experience of payroll and associated taxes including Executive pay, benefits, pay models and an understanding of tax and HR legislation and process within the UK.
Knowledge of MHR / iTrent an advantage.
A good understanding of employment law as it relates to pay and benefits, in particular equal pay.
Experience or knowledge of Willis Towers Watson salary survey methodology an advantage
