GRADUATE SCIENTIST / RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT
The Company
Specialist, Niche Market Engineering firm within the fields of Materials & Specialist Manufacturing processes for multiple industries. They have dominated the industry for many years and have a global customer base which they support from the UK.
The Role
This position is most likely to interest a recent graduate/final year student with a degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or similar, who is interested in development and experimental work. Candidates with higher degrees will also be considered.
We need a scientist to work on a variety of research and development and small-scale production projects. These projects are at the forefront of European research in areas such as aerospace, rocketry, satellite propulsion and advanced manufacturing.
This is primarily an R&D post but involvement in most areas of company activity is foreseen.
The Candidate
Strong academic background in: Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or similar Engineering discipline.
A keen interest in research and experimental work
The Package
£26,000 – £36,000 per year – Dependent on academic record & career history
