IT Project Manager SC Cleared
Rate: £600 – £720 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Bristol
Our Defence client has an urgent need for an experienced IT Project Manager as part of a Supply Chain transformation project. The usual Project management activities such as organising and maintaining project timelines, project/programme delivery, initiating requirement documentation, finance, and good stake holder management skills. Our client operates a blended agile and waterfall framework, albeit always striving to deliver in an increasingly incremental and iterative way.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Project delivery.
* Manage project documentation.
* Define project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress.
* Participate in the tender preparation and evaluation process ensuring all business criteria and user requirements are included.
* Integrate new or modified requirements into new or existing contracts.
* Risk management
* Assist the Senior Project Manager in preparing reports for the Management Team.
Skills and Qualifications
* Ideally 10 years Project Management Experience.
* Ability to work in a team of diverse levels of subject matter experts.
* Ability to take a lead role when required.
* Background in Defence and/or Logistics and Supply chain.
* A qualification such as Agile, APMP, Prince 2 or similar is highly desirable.
* Current SC Clearance
Due to project timeframes, candidates will need current active Security clearance to SC level.
