Reporting to the IT Services Manager, the role of the Resources Officer will be to carry out the creation and updating of learner and staff learning resources; maintaining a range of databases; developing new systems of work using a variety of languages/tools (Java, Java Script, PHP, H5P) and providing general IT support.

Duties include:

• Undertaking ongoing research and development for the implementation of e-Learning platform the ‘Learner Hub’
• Supporting delivery teams with the development of Teaching and Learning resources and upload to the Learner Hub
• Developing bespoke web applications to help increase/improve the functionality of current procedures
• To research and develop new teaching and learning resources in the form of podcasts, videos, e-learning etc. and liaise with all teams across the company to ascertain ongoing requirements
• Liaising with external organisations to access support services to ensure effective running of all systems (Microsoft)
• Assisting with the creation of electronic documentation

Do you have web development qualification? Do you have knowledge of SQL, PHP, HTML, Java Script, CSS? Have you worked with Moodle and Adobe Premier? Have you had experience of video filming and editing? If you have answered yes to most of these skills this may be your next best move
