I am looking for an experienced Registered Manager to run a well-established care home in Northampton. The home provides care and support to older people and adults, many of whom have dementia. The home is well-regarded with an excellent reputation, and is looking to maintain and build on this.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running the home and ensuring that the quality of the service and care provided meets the National Minimum Standards..

Duties for the role of Registered Manager will include:

* Ensuring that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual needs

* Ensuring that person-centred care is provided at all times

* Recruiting, training and supervise the care assistants and domestic staff working within the home

* Developing clear policies and practices regarding quality standards

* Responsibility for good liaison with all appropriate outside professionals associated with resident care

* Liaising with all regulatory bodies as required

* Maintaining CQC registration

For this role you must have:

* QCF 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be working towards this

* Extensive experience as a Registered Manager

* A good working knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, CQC standards and associated regulations

* Strong leadership skills

* Excellent time management and organisational skills
