Regional Civil Engineering Sales Manager

Salary: £78,000 per year

I am working with a well-known Civil Engineering company that works nationally across the UK. They are looking to add a Regional Civil Engineering Sales Manager within their Southeast England team.

As a Regional Civil Sales Engineer, you would provide a key link between the engineering and commercial functions within the business. Your goals will be the development of business relationships, attending meetings, understanding, and managing key projects, presenting to customers and the preparation & checking of temporary works designs. There will be opportunities to work in different sectors and key projects/frameworks such as HS2 and AMP7.

The ideal candidate would have experience within designing temporary works, ideally within a building/construction/temporary groundwork/civil engineering capacity. You would need to be a forward thinking, ambitious, self sufficient and motivated leader, who would work professionally within the existing team of 6 sales individuals.

To be considered for this role you must possess the following:

* BSc/BEng in Civil or structural engineering

* A minimum of two years sales/account management experience within a field-based role

* A solid knowledge within civil engineering, construction, and temporary groundworks

* A sound understanding of legislations such as CDM 2015

* A working knowledge of design software’s such as CAD / Revit

* Excellent professional communicator with senior leadership and decision makers

My client operates an ICA Company Approved Training Scheme to help boost employees professional qualifications, however the ideal candidate should be close or already achieved an IEng Professional recognition.

The location for this role is Southeast England, and will require travel and on occasion over night stays. Role is a field-based position, and allows access to over 6 depots within the South East, should you wish to be in an office.

In return my client is offering a highly competitive salary up to £78,000 per annum depending upon experience + car or allowance + personalised comms allowance + 25 days holiday & stats.
