Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
QUANTITY SURVEYOR – Residential and Care Home Construction
Working on significant projects throughout the East Midlands area, my client are looking to expand their team due to the purchase of a number of new build plots planned for now and throughout next year.
My fantastic, dynamic, forward-thinking firm are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience working within the housing sector, that is essential. You will have the opportunity to work with industry leading Quantity Surveyors working on an amazing variety of work.
If you are either an experienced QS or an experienced AQS looking for that next step up, this could be the perfect regional role for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Quantity Surveyor:
* Pre and Post contract services
* Attend site meetings
* Produce documents to tender
* Contract Administration
* Valuations
* Cost plans
* Cost Management
REQUIREMENTS of the Quantity Surveyor:
* Preferably MRICS or currently working towards their APC ideally
* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline ideally
* Experience working in for a construction firm working specifically in housing/new build
* Ideally, you should have Site Manager capability to deputise where required
* Experienced in both pre and post contract work
* Excellent client facing abilities
* Experience working on multiple sites at one time
* Tenacious attitude, with a desire to succeed and progress in their career
