Salary: £54,000 – £66,000 per year
Our client is seeking to employ an experienced Quantity Surveyor for their business based in Oldbury.
As a Quantity Surveyor within the business you will report directly to the Commercial Manager as well as working alongside projects managers. The successful candidate will have previous experience working on highways maintenance and surfacing projects.
Main Duties
* To assist the Commercial Manager with daily quantity surveying functions connected to each part of the business, and pricing of groundworks tenders, variations.
* To support the surfacing estimating team when required.
* Provide contractual and commercial advice to the operational team to support them in their decision making
* Prepare valuations and applications for payment in accordance with the form of contract.
* Measurement of works on site from drawings
* Prepare and present commercial reports, cost plans and cash flow forecasts for Senior Managers.
Qualifications
* HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
* A full UK driving Licence
* Previous experience working on highways based projects
* Valid CSCS card
