A high end, fast growing residential building firm with ambitious plans are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee and develop daily services on both new build and refurbishment projects.
range from complete refurbishments and listed building works, to new builds and large extensions.
The role
You will be familiar with our company processes and procedures and will be able to apply your knowledge and skillset to oversee the contractual obligations and performance for each project undertaken. You will be an integral part of the team and, as such, you will support the commercial management of these contracts. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing project costs, pricing of orders and preparing accounts for these.
In your role you will work closely with the Contracts Manager and Site Managers to review the monthly hire reports and prepare negotiating subcontract packages. You will also have the confidence and ability to proactively support all business objectives as well as delivering a continuously high quality of product, value for money and customer satisfaction. Your customers will be as proud of our brand as you are.
You will promote and cultivate Health and Safety best of practice to our subcontractors and suppliers. Your experience in open, honest communication will put you in good stead as you demonstrate your negotiation skills to ensure external valuations are all in keeping with client expectation. In addition you will take full responsibility to ensure all payments are received on time and that the final account is settled.

Salary negotiable: Salary £54,000 – £66,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience and car allowance
