Nicholas Associates Engineering & Manufacturing is exclusively recruiting for a Quality Inspector. My client is a leading manufacturing business based in Barnsley who supply into the Rail, Medical, Oil & Gas and Renewables.

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong quality and CNC machining or welding background?

Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector role,
* Inspecting parts during and at the end of the production process to ensure the specification is correct to client requirements.
*Ensure quality process are worked to throughout the manufacturing process
*Produce quality

Checking assembly of kits before they are dispatched to the customer.
*Follow procedures set in our Quality plan including the internal calibration of some measuring equipment or ensuring offsite calibration is completed.

You should have
* Experience working as a Quality Inspector ideally with both machined and fabricated products
* Knowledge and experience of working in a specialist bespoke engineering environment
* Strong background with welding and fabricating manufacturing process ideally with CSWIP certification

In return for your experience as a Quality Inspector we can offer you
*Salary of £28,800 – £31,200
