Quality Inspector

Salary: £31,200 – £36,000 per year

Days of work: Monday-Friday: 730am – 4pm
Overtime: Available, regular

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team who will have an engineering background and preferably have experience in the sub contract motorsport/aerospace industry. The successful applicant will be required to read technical drawings and inspect components to customer design and specifications. You will be able to use various types of inspection equipment which includes CMM’s. Document control and completing reports which are provided on request.

Qualifications & Skills:
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Demonstrate a sound knowledge of inspection equipment.
* Knowledge of CMM’s (Mitutoyo cosmos software an advantage but not essential)
* Knowledge of FAIR, ISIR’s and other documents
* Strong attention to detail
* Work to tight deadlines
* At times, be able to work “lone wolf” under pressure
* To have a flexible approach
