Position Overview:
Title: Quality Inspector.
Salary: Competitive Industry Rates (Negotiable).
Duration: Temporary with the expectation of 6 months minimum.
Hours: Full-Time, circa 40 hours per week.
Location: Leicester (Fosse Way).
Roles & Responsibilities:
The support of Q.P.S. operations primarily within the automotive, off-highway and power generation industries.
To carry out as trained and instructed the inspection of various components and materials.
The inspection activity to include but not limited to:o Visual inspection.
o Attribute gauging.
o Standard measuring equipment e.g. vernier, micrometer, height gauge etc.
o As suitably trained electronic gauging e.g. Marposs Gauging, Faro Arm, CMM etc.
The recording of all required data e.g. quantities, inspection results, timeline etc.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
Educated in quality processes, with relevant engineering quality experience of working within a medium / high volume environment.
A dexterous and focused attention to detail.
A good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
