Salary: £26,400 – £36,000 per year
Our client based in Christchurch is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their expanding team.
Do you have previous programming experience?
Do you have amberlink CMM experience?
Purpose of the job: To conduct inspection operations prior to release of product, goods inward
inspection on receipt of product and raising of non-conformance, when required.
To ensure the highest level of quality control/inspection conditions are applied at all times.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Inspection activities are to be performed in a timely manner giving feedback to operators and capturing continuous improvement opportunities
To carry out first-off, in process and last off Inspection of detailed parts and assembles in a timely and efficient manor according to customer specification
To ensure all FAIR and KC products are inspected for conformity, with recorded dimensions
To ensure correct practise with respect to product quality to customer requirements
To identify in good time any potential non-conformances
To ensure product non-conformity is communicated to the production staff
To carry out inspection of parts that are to be sent for additional processing
To visually inspect and verify product that has been received from sub-contract processing
To ensure all traceability requirements have been recorded on the job card prior to release or receipt
To follow specific customer quality requirements when required (the use of web based portals or specific documents/forms)
To promote the awareness that where errors occur they are detected as early as possible during the manufacturing process and not at the pre-treatment or final inspection stages
To maintain Quality Records/documentation
