Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector – North East of Leicester – £14.4 p/h

A new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector or a Mechanical Inspector to join a manufacturing company based the North East of Leicester. A Quality Inspector is needed to carry out inspection and use of CMM would be beneficial.

The company specialise in the manufacture of machined precision parts and supply to a wide range of manufacturing industries.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE QUALITY INSPECTOR:

* Experience in a Quality Inspection function is essential.
* Experience with CMM would be beneficial.
* Ideally has worked in a precision Engineering environment.

THE ROLE OF THE QUALITY INSPECTOR:

* Maintain and the Implementation of agreed quality standards and management procedures throughout the company.
* To check that components are manufactured to drawing specification, using methods necessary to achieve this.
* To conduct and track Quality, System, Process, and Product, audits
* Completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR’s), using Visual Fair software.
* Maintain and improve levels of Quality within the work place
* Quality Improvement activities and initiatives,
* Work on CMM.
* Monthly recording and reporting of Quality Performance

PACKAGE FOR THE QUALITY INSPECTOR:

* Hourly rate: £14.4p/h – £12 per hour.
* Pension after probation.
