Shorterm Group is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a global rail organisation on an initial contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
-Implementing quality control plans throughout a team and the wider business.
-Practical Problem Solving.
-Assisting and partaking in Design Quality Assurance and Advance Quality Assurance process.
-Analysis of data and statistics in relation to quality systems.
-Leading a culture of change and quality throughout an internal team of quality technicians and inspectors.
-Liaising with SQAs, Engineering and Production in reviewing quality issues and practises.
Required Skills and Experience:
-HND/Degree qualified or relevant experience supported by recognised training and personal development.
-Excellent practical problem solving skills.
-Six Sigma trained/practitioner
-Strong interpersonal skills coupled with good leadership and influencing capabilities.
-Mathematical analysis skills with attention to detail.
-SAP ERP system knowledge would be advantageous.
-Knowledge of quality standards within a manufacturing/production environment.
