Quality Engineer

We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer in the Telford area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Quality Engineer you will need to have/be:

Proven experience within an automotive background
A strong APQP background with knowledge of PPAP and FMEA
Extensive audit experience
Knowledge of core tools and GD&T principlesDetails:

Salary: Negotiable
Location: Telford
Duration: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Start Date: ASAPRole of a Quality Engineer:

Assisting with quality related issues within the manufacturing team
Identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues
Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System
Write test product procedures
Reporting KPI’s
Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement, such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke and Measurement System Analysis
Participate in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEA’s
Lead Quality Audits
Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to customer base
