Ashbys Consulting are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Building Surveyor to work with a growing medium sized company of Chartered Surveyors around the South of London/ Surrey Border. The company provides residential surveying services: building surveys, party wall, valuations, dilapidations, project management. Most jobs are located across London and into Surrey and the team come from diverse backgrounds.

We are looking for a preferably chartered surveyor to support the growing volume of surveys and ensure the quality of all reports being sent to the clients. The surveyor in questions will be a highly qualified building surveyor who is happy to check reports and cross reference etc. The role can be either office based or home based or split between the two, very flexible for the right person. The candidate must be able to conduct full building surveys on residential properties and should ideally have some years’ experience in doing so. Knowledge of construction needs to be of a high standard to recognise good workmanship

Main Duties:

* Quality checks on Building Surveys and Reports

* Keep clear and concise records of all activity, producing clear reports

* Feedback non-conformance findings to assist with improving quality processes of Building Surveys
