QC Analyst – 12 Months

We are currently looking for a QC Analyst to join a leading Speciality Chemicals company based in the Staffordshire area on 12 month contract. As the QC Analyst you will be responsible for performing analytical tests on a range of chemical products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the QC Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as following:

1. Perform QC Analysis on a range of chemical products including raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

2. Record and report analytical data in accordance with internal Quality Assurance standards.

3. Undertake investigations in response to out of specification results.

4. Carry out calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment when required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. You will be at least degree qualified in Chemistry or a related e.g. Analytical Chemistry, Analytical Science etc.

2. It is essential that you have previous experience working in an Analytical or QC Laboratory.

3. In addition you will have a working knowledge of a range of chemical analysis techniques and GMP.
