Production Planner (18 Month Fixed Term)

Inside Out Purchasing & Supply has been engaged to recruit an experienced Production Planner on an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract.

The Role:

* Develops Production Plans that meet customer requirements and are in line with production capacity.
* Liaises cross functionally with all areas of Operations as required to maintain an accurate Production Plan.
* Supports the Planning Manager with the preparation of Production Plan Risk Analysis, Capacity Analysis and Planning Measures.
* Actions customer Defer & Expedite requests, where possible.
* Proactively liaises directly with the Customer Services team to feedback any changes to the Production
* Plan that may impact customer delivery.
* Publishes customer open order book schedules as requested.
* Attends and contributes to all relevant Planning / Operations meetings as required
* Maintains and updates MAPICS Planning data to ensure current accurate information is available to the wider business.
* Releases production work orders to manufacturing.
