Public Relations Account Manager

My client, based in Edinburgh, is looking to recruit an experienced Public Relations Account Manager to join their growing team.

This is a permanent role and my client is offering an exceptional salary to the successful applicant.

In this role you will be involved in all aspects of Public Relations including:

Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations.
researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
collating and analysing media coverage
writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports.
preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes;To be successful in this role you will have the following skills / experience:

Good working knowledge of PR and media relations.
Previous agency experience would be an advantage.
Excellent web and social media experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of managing clients and building and developing relationships.
knowledge of the Scottish political environment would be an advantage too
Previous project management experience would be a benefit.
