Salary: £26,000 per year

A rare and exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager to join the North West based arm of a National Contractor to lead a newly secured project (circa £10m in value). This opportunity could suit a Senior Site Manager from a main contracting background looking to take that first step to project management, or a project manager who already has experience leading similar value schemes a number one.

This award winning, Top Contractor has a focus on multimillion pound design & build developments (£5m – £35m) for an impressive list of local authorities and blue-chip clients. My client has recently been successful on multiple tenders and framework agreements, which has subsequently increased the turnover of this particular business unit by over 30% for the foreseeable future. As a Project Manager:

Lead the Project Team, working in a proactive and co-operative manner.
To successfully deliver the agreed targets and Business Plan Objectives.
To support and manage members of your team and any other assigned workers, ensuring they fulfill their responsibilities and deliverables, and being generally responsible for their welfare and development.
To manage project deliverables, stages and records to ensure efficient effective delivery and to satisfy the Company`s commercial needs.
To convene meetings with internal and external stakeholders, as required to ensure progress is maintained.
To report on project progress to the Operations Director Manager and others as required.
To plan site activities with the Construction Manager.
Responsible for delivery of assigned projects on time and within budget, gross margins and net margins as sold, and satisfying contractual requirements, including compliance with all relevant standards and legislation, including Health & Safety and Environmental.
