Project Manager

Salary: £720 – £780 per day

Our client is a leading Construction and Infrastructure Services business working in the Rail sector. A requirement has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join the team and lead a significant asset management project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a number of major stakeholders and drive through a vital improvement and change management scheme.

Job Requirements:-

* You will ensure a comprehensive budget which has been prepared reflects the plan and all resource needs to see through to completion

* Work closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels within the organisation to define and achieve ongoing mutual understanding of the scope.

* You will direct and motivate the project internal and external teams to achieve the desired results

* Ensure effective communication is maintained throughout the project liaising with different core rail disciplines.

* Experience within the rail industry will be a significant advantage

* proven experience of delivering projects to time, cost and quality

* Membership of The Association for Project Management and/or membership of a relevant professional institution and/or relevant demonstrable experience.

* Robust stakeholder management skills and a natural ability to expand and develop relationships

* Experience of different project management approaches e.g. agile and waterfall.

This is a 9 month project and will require 3 days per week working on the contract.
