Production Team Leader

Salary: £36,000 per year

I am working with a large scale manufacturing business, who are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to join their business.

The company employ over 200 members of the manufacturing team, who work over a 24/7 basis, across three working shifts.

The role in question is for the team leader position of the afternoon shift 2pm – 10pm Monday – Friday.

The role will involve but will not be limited to:

• Having a positive attitude towards man management
• Must be able to lead by example
• The ability to lead by doing, not just by direction
• Ability to motivate and delegate to supervisors regarding daily workload
• Experience managing 1-2-1’s and return to works
• Involvement within recruitment, hiring and training of new staff
• Must be target driven
• Ability to think on your feet, and think outside the box 
• Process implementer with a clear knowledge of continuous improvement

In return my client is offering a starting salary up to £36,000 depending upon experience, free on site car parking, regular staff rewards, team building events, company pension, performance bonuses and a strong career path.
