Production Team Leader

We are currently looking to recruit a Production Team Leader for a global automotive 1st Tier supplier located in West Yorkshire.

As Production Team Leader you will be tasked with leading and co-ordinating day-to-day activities in a high volume manufacturing arena ensuring quality of products and timing meets the businesses standards.

As Production Team Leader you will also be responsible for:

* Ensuring the timely delivery of a quality product on a daily basis meeting customer requirements
* Ensuring operators work constantly to the operational business standards while achieving plan and KPI targets in line with Health and Safety requirements.
* Training and developing production team members and new starters in line with the business standards
* Ensure that the team under your remit, own and maintain the business standards with reference to the Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), and 5S House Keeping
* Carrying out team briefs effectively to keep teams up-to-date with current affairs along with maintaining a safe working environment while developing a safe work place and culture

You will also have direct responsibility for:
* KPI Indicators
* OEE measures
* M.A.N. KPI indicator.
* Plant Management Audit.
* Plant KPI Indicator.

Candidates should have previous experience in a similar Team Leader/Production Supervisor role, preferably automotive manufacturing or high volume manufacturing arena.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills in relation to people management, mentoring & coaching and lead by example.
