Salary: £45,600 per year
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Team Leader to join the team at our client’s Redcar depot. Supporting the Engineering Manager you will have line management responsibility for technicians and apprentices, and support the maintenance of the operational fleet of vehicles to Company Maintenance Policy standards and applying safe working practice within the company’s Health and Safety procedures.

What do we need from you?
As an individual you will be committed to delivering a better service to customers therefore, you will have good fault diagnosis skills, experience of inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles in addition to preventative maintenance.
You must hold a full driving license; a PCV license would be advantageous.
You will be a motivated team player, who can work effectively unsupervised and use your own initiative to solve problems. In our business safety of customers and employees must not be compromised.
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of fleet management systems
Knowledge of engineering procedures and health and safety legislation
Have good knowledge of engineering technical skills
Previous experience or confidence in taking on responsibility of developing and managing staff
Full UK driving license (6 points or less) – essential
Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical – essential
