Production Operative

Due to our clients continued success applications are invited for the position of Production Warehouse Operative. The successful candidate will need the required skills to support the warehouse Supervisor/Manager with;

• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Physical work – heavy lifting
• Must have a good temperament with a can do attitude
• Work to instructions and deadlines – working to hit set targets
• Attention to detail – be able to understand order requirements
• Work using own initiative and within a team
• Understand stock control systems – re-locating stock – rolling stock takes etc.
• Picking orders at speed
• Scanning and attaching labels at speed (experience in using scanners useful but not essential)
• Dispatch orders using Reflex system – also outside linked dispatch systems
• Understands clean as you go systems with a neat and tidy approach to work
• Good communication skills – be able to communicate at all levels
• Work within the companies Health and Safety rules and procedures
• After training be able to identify designs/colours/lengths from ticket labels
• Must have a flexible approach to work and willing to work shifts and Overtime at short notice

In order to meet the required criteria any potential candidate should have a reasonable level of IT literacy and a working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Health and Safety principles. Fork Lift Truck and Man up Order picker Licences would be an advantage.
