Production Manager – Joinery

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

We are currently seeking a Production Manager to join our clients established team on a full-time permanent basis. This position is specifically for the manufacture of timber windows.

The Company:

Our client is an established joinery manufacturer within the Windows, Doors & Stairs sector. Producing more than £8m worth of joinery each year from purpose-designed manufacturing space occupying more than 100,000 sq. ft., employing more than 100 staff.

The Job:

As a Production Manager you will lead a team of 60 staff within the busy window manufacturing environment.

You will manage a team made up of:

* Machinists

* Glaziers

* Finishers (spraying etc..)

* Assemblers

The purpose of the role is to ensure production output is maintained, that lead times are met and production efficiencies and improvements are continuous.

You will:

* Contribute towards process improvements and manufacturing efficiencies.

* Be able to manage a team working to tight deadlines

* Have great attention to detail with very high-quality standards

* Have a thorough understanding of timber window manufacturing

* Have an excellent understanding of wood machining

* Have an excellent understanding of CNC machining

* Have meticulous planning skills

* Have exception man management skills

The Hours:

The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00, with an earlier finish on Friday.
